To absolutely no ones’ surprise, Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators remain at #1 with their win Saturday. The #2 and #3 spots switched places with again with Texas and Alabama – it’s Alabama’s turn now as they are now the 2nd ranked team.
With Iowa’s surprising loss to Northwestern, the Big Ten’s hopes of a national champion are over. The big surprise as to who is now #4????
TCU!!! Yes, TCU!!! TCU moves to #4 and are just ahead of Cincinnati and Boise State – all of whom are still undefeated with three more games to go.
IF TCU is going to have any chance of appearing in the national championship game, however, they are going to need some help from the top three. It is highly unlikely that they will be able to move up to #1 or #2 without losses from two of the top three teams.
There is going to be a lot of attention paid to TCU, as their ranking is the HIGHEST of any team EVER that did not have an automatic bid to one of the big time (and money) bowl games!
Here are the BCS rankings after week #11
